The online mid-term Ministerial Conference was held under the Chairmanship of Azerbaijan

The mid-term Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement was held from 13 to 14 July 2021 in a virtual format under the Chairmanship of the Republic of Azerbaijan. More than thirty Ministers of Foreign Affairs from NAM Member States were participating at this high-level event.

During the Conference, Azerbaijan presented a report covering activities carried out during the twenty one months of the Chairmanship.

As an outcome document, the Conference adopted the Political Declaration reflecting the position of the Movement on the various issues standing in the international agenda. In the Political Declaration, the Ministers also welcomed the offer of the Republic of Uganda to host the next Summit of Heads of State and Government of NAM in 2023 and admission of the Russian Federation as an observer state to the Movement.
