Online Meeting of the Ministers of Health of the NAM Contact Group in response to COVID-19 was held on 20 May 2020

The Ministers of Health of the NAM Contact Group in response to COVID-19 met through Online Meeting on 20 May 2020, under the Chairmanship of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was organized as a follow-up to Online Summit level Meeting of the NAM Contact Group in response to COVID-19, which took place on 4 May 2020.

The meeting was attended by 25 Member States, represented at the level of ministers, deputy ministers and other high levels. Dr. Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe addressed the meeting as a guest speaker.

The Participants of the Meeting expressed their support to the work of the NAM Task Force established to work out a database that will include the basic humanitarian and medical needs and requirements of NAM Member States in responding to COVID-19.
