NAM Chair delivered a Statement at the UN Security Council Open Debate on "The Transitional Justice after Conflict or Atrocities: a Building Block towards Sustaining Peace"

On 13 February 2020, Open Debate of the UN Security Council on "The Transitional Justice after Conflict or Atrocities: A Building Block towards Sustaining Peace" was held.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Ms. Michelle Bachelet, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, H.E. Mr. Kalla Ankourao, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, African Integration and Nigeriens Abroad of Niger, H.E. Mr. Pedro Brolo, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Guatemala, H.E. Ms. Maria Aranzazu Gonzales Laya, Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain and H.E. Mr. Mart Volmer, Deputy-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Estonia.

Ms. Nahida Baghirova, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations, in her capacity as the representative of the Chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement for the period of 2019-2022 delivered a statement on behalf of the Movement.
