IAEA General Conference 2nd Special Session
The Second Special Session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conference was held on Monday, 2 December 2019, to approve the appointment of the new Director General Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi.
During the Special Session the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to IAEA Ambassador Galib Israfilov delivered a statement on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement congratulating the newly appointed Director General and expressing the principled position of the Movement on nuclear related matters.
